Thanksgiving Desserts

Kelly and I started making all the desserts for Thanksgiving today... We made ALL the pie crusts from scratch, baked pumpkins and made our own fillings..They turned out very nice...
We have made 2 Pumpkins, 1 French Silk, 1 Cherry, 1 Lemon Meringue and 2 Banana Cream Pies. All I can say is YUMMY! I think I gained 3 pounds just making them...

Relaxing Ride

Me and Kelly took a ride to Fernandina today. It was pretty damn cold today, but the day was beautiful...I had to stop this morning to get my zipper fixed on my jacket and Kelly bought a new face covering to block the cold... We then went on to start the day at Hwy 17 Bar in Yulee (had to stop and warm up really). Then we went to a bar called Wicked Davey's in Fernandina, when we got there they had been bought today and were closed, but the new owner was standing out front so he let us in and served us a beer for FREE! Nice Guy and a really cool little place... Then we strolled on down to O'Kanes Irish Pub and Eatery for some lunch. After lunch we headed back South and stopped off at The Redneck Yacht Club (again to warm up). They were getting ready to have an Oyster Roast... We had some on Sunday and boy what a deal... $5.00 for a big ol' Tray full... Can't beat that anywhere. After some thawing and a cold drink we headed home for a Hot, home cooked meal... We had a great time today to say the least...

1st Annual Ga / Fl Tailgate Party

We hosted our 1st Annual Ga vs. Fl Tailgate Party this weekend... We had a lot of fun! It was our first so there was not a lot of planning, but we pulled it off pretty well... The menu was: home made meat balls, Sausage & Peppers, BBQ Ribs, Potato Salad, BBQ Beans, Fruit Trays, Veggie Trays, Chips & Dip and plenty of Beer & Tequila !!! We had a Generator running 2 Crock Pots and the TV for plenty of Game Day Football. Everybody Chipped in and came together at the last minute. All those that attended: Kelly, Brian, Alan, Jason, Nicole, Evan, Cody, Sara, Sharon and Ashley. Those welcomed to "crash" the party were Lee, Tillum, Wes, and several others that I can not think of their names right now... Sorry Guys.

Thanks to everyone who helped! It would not have been the same without you.

We all had a great time and look forward to the 2nd Annual next year!!!
